Delco SPCA, Media ,PA - 610-566-1370 Tasha is a wonderful adult Lab mix. She's thankfully in a great foster home and they report that Tasha is very obedient. She knows sit, stay, paw, down, drop it and leave it. That's a lot of commands! She loves going for long walks and meeting people. She is good with young kids, too. Tasha loves to give kisses and get lots of attention. She will go in a crate easily, if you put some chicken in it. She is fine in the crate even if you're at home. Wow!! -- a dog that is crate trained, house trained and obedience trained- what are you waiting for???!!! History/Personality: Pepper and CD have been together all their lives and show it; they are completely inseparable. These two have suffered from the ignorance of their former guardians: they were never altered, have been penned their entire lives, and have bred numerous litters. In August 2006, Catahoula Rescue was contacted by a shelter in OH and told that Pepper and CD had been dumped at the shelter because Pepper was once again pregnant. Pepper and CD stuck out the terrors of shelter life. No matter how uncomfortable and scared they got, Pepper growled at the other dogs to protect her babies and CD barked and growled at the other dogs to protect Pepper. Side by side Pepper and CD patiently awaited a foster home where their babies could be born. When they arrived at Catahoula Rescue in Carbondale PA, it was immediately obvious how attached these dogs were to each other. Pepper is a very sweet, outgoing girl who loves pets and kisses. CD is more stand - off -ish, shy and relies on Pepper to let him know what to do in most situations. CD follows Pepper every where she goes and always sleeps along ide her. Both Pepper and CD are good with other dogs but should not go to a home with cats. Pepper and CD should also go to a home with older children because the fast movements and loud noises younger children make startle CD.

History/Personality: If you like a dog that is "wise" but still full of life and playful, then Doogan might just be the dog for you. Some might say he is a senior but he is not ready for a retirement home. He loves walks and playing with toys. He dances when you come home and has the sweetest voice ever. His favorite time is bedtime when he can fall asleep in your arms. Who could resist a Beagle Boy like this one? Doogan gets along fine with other dogs; he seems to be a little scared of children that are loud or move too fast. He is healthy, house trained and he has just had his teeth cleaned. He will be micro chipped before adoption.
